Kane & Lynch: Dead Men

Nearly everyone I know hates this series, and what can I say? I don’t really blame them entirely. The game wasn’t that great. But underneath the mediocre graphics and choppy game play there is some decent fun to be had for sure. Co-op mode is always a plus for games. This one delivers if your looking to have a few good hours of fun with a friend. I think my favorite part about this game though is the multiplayer mode. You would be thrown into a group of random players with the task of robbing banks, pulling off diamond heists, ect. At any moment one of your own allies could attempt to kill you and try to run off with your split of the cash (the xp). They get branded a traitor and the whole team scurries to kill them while on the edge of paranoia, thinking that someone else might get the same idea. Dead players spawn as police officers and are tasked with taking out the remaining bank robbers with the promise of a cash bonus per kill. Its definitely a unique experience.

Kane & Lynch: Dog Days, the sequel, had an similar mp mode with a few improvements that was an intense amount of fun. Co-op campaign though, was short and extremely inconclusive.

A game that is underrated.

The whole Shadow Hearts series is nothing but pure RPG gold. From the moment I picked up this game I loved it, and immediately got sucked into the series. Check out all 3 of them! Great creepy atmosphere and has some very unique characters as well. More people should know about this awesome game.

I started my gaming journey with the classic “Super Mario Bros.” when I was younger. I had both the Nintendo and Sega Genesis, so I would swap off between the two consoles constantly, but I dished out tons more hours on the Nintendo because of this game.
